High Pressure seals are normally identified by they're blue/teal colour and lettering stamped on the outer of the seal. They are most commonly found in pressurised units. Although found in this application they can be used in many applications including pumps and motors, mechanical power transmission gearboxes, and 2 stroke engines. Normally as pressure increases the seal life dramatically decreases due to a typical seal wear that is normally caused by pressure distortion. High pressure seals minimise those problems and issues.
